Maintenance Worker – Opening of StudioRes Sherbrooke by Marriott

StudioRes Sherbrooke is preparing for its first performance.

Our conductor is in place, the sections are forming and we are now looking for our Rhythm Master, the person who will make sure everything works in perfect harmony.

In an orchestra, the rhythm section provides stability and allows all musicians to follow the tempo. In our hotel, your role will be just as essential. Thanks to your expertise and your sense of resourcefulness, you will contribute to the comfort, safety and satisfaction of our guests.

Your Role

As a Rhythm Master, you will:

• Carry out preventive maintenance work on the hotel;
• Carry out various minor repairs in rooms and common areas;
• Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and installations;
• Assurer le bon fonctionnement des équipements et des installations ;
• Participate in exterior maintenance of the building as needed;
• Ensure compliance with safety standards;
• Contribute to providing a flawless customer experience.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in building maintenance, maintenance or related field;
• General repair skills (plumbing, basic electricity, carpentry or others);
• Great autonomy and sense of initiative;
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems;
• Excellent organization and commitment to a job well done;
• Positive attitude and team spirit.
