Front Desk Clerk – Opening of StudioRes Sherbrooke by Marriott

StudioRes Sherbrooke is preparing for its first performance.

Recruitment for the Front Desk Team

Our conductor is in place.

Our First Violin and our Section Leader take their positions.

We are looking for a front desk clerk in Sherbrooke who will create a memorable experience for each of our guests.

Every stay begins with a first impression. Your smile, your professionalism, and your commitment to service will help set the tone from the moment our guests arrive.

Your Role

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

• Greet customers warmly and professionally;
• Process check-ins and check-outs;
• Respond to guests’ requests and ensure their satisfaction;
• Provide information about the hotel and local attractions;
• Manage reservations and payments;
• Collaborate with various departments to provide a seamless customer experience;
• Help maintain a welcoming and positive environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Customer service experience (experience in the hospitality industry is a plus);
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once;
• A positive attitude and a customer-focused approach;
• Proficiency in French and English to provide daily support to our international clientele;
• Availability to work one or more shifts (day, evening, and/or night) on weekends and holidays, depending on your preferences.
